Varandas do Lago lies between Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago close to Ancao beach. All the best golf courses the Algarve has to offer are a short driveaway. The town of Almancil with many restaurants, shops and Apolonia supermarket is ten minutes by car. This holiday villa benefits from a private swimming pool, barbeque and air-conditioning.<\/p>\r\n<p>The villa is built over two levels. On the ground floor the entrance leads to the spacious living room with plenty of sofas, TV, DVD and double doors leading to the swimming pool. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern conveniences including microwave, dishwasher, hob and fridge\/freezer. Doors from the kitchen lead to the garden.<\/p>\r\n<p>There are two bedrooms on the ground floor of the villa. Bedroom one has twin beds and en-suite bathroom. Bedroom two has twin beds, TV and en-suite bathroom. There is also a cloackroom.<\/p>\r\n<p>The remaining two bedrooms are on the upper level of the villa. Bedroom three has twin beds and en-suite bathroom. Bedroom four is the master bedroom with double bed, en-suite bathroom and doors accessing a private terrace.<\/p>\r\n<p>Outside the private swimming pool is surrounded by sun terraces. The nearby Tennis Academys at Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago offer a range of tennis packages for those that like an active holiday.<\/p>\n<p>The nearest supermarkets are from the Pingo Doce chain and are located at the entrance of Vale do Lobo and adjacent the Quinta do Lago plaza. For a larger shop Apolonia in the centre of Almancil has all the brands you get at home. They also offer a delivery service.<\/p>\n<p>Accommodation in Varandas do Lago comprises of luxury villas with private swimming pools as well as a small number of townhouses. All of our holiday rentals in Varandas do Lago are rented on self-catering basis.<\/p>\n<p>There are plenty of dining options in the nearby town of Almancil offering Portuguese and International cuisine. Below are some of our favourites.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div><h4><span lang=\"EN-US\">Parrilla Natural<\/span><\/h4><\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Located in a renovated villa, this is the best steak restaurant in town. If you don&rsquo;t book in advance you probably won&rsquo;t get a table. The owners have recently opened a second restaurant nearby &lsquo;Gourmet Natural&rsquo; which is also worth a visit.<\/div>\n<div>\n<h4><span lang=\"EN-US\">Pequeno Mundo<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">French cusine in a stunning setting, located on the outskirts of Almancil. Well woth a visit for a romantic evening.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"EN-US\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><span lang=\"EN-US\">Restaurante Dois Passos<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>2 Passos Restaurant provides exceptional service and great quality food, in a spectacular setting overlooking Ancao Beach. Not to be missed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"EN-US\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"EN-US\">Thai<\/span><\/strong><strong><span lang=\"EN-US\">&nbsp;Garden<\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"EN-US\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">The&nbsp;Thai&nbsp;Garden&nbsp;is situated on the grounds of Sao Gabriel. The chefs are all from&nbsp;Thailand&nbsp;and produce some of the best Thai food we have ever tasted. During the summer months the tables and chairs are outside in the lush garden. The noodle dishes and curries are divine.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"EN-US\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><span lang=\"EN-US\">Casa do Campo<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Sitting under twinkling lights of the fig tree in summer is always high-light of any holiday. Fish is a specialty here but they also do great steak and rack of lamb. Make sure you book early as Casa is busy all year round. Although a little on the pricey side, Casa is a must for any trip.&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"EN-US\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><span lang=\"EN-US\">Bovino<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Elegant steakhouse located off roundabout 6 Quinta do Lago serving some of the best steaks in the Algarve.<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">&nbsp;There is also a pool and cocktail bar.<\/span><br \/><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span lang=\"EN-US\">Florian<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Located in Vale Verde is the popular Florian restaurant. The old style dining room is<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">&nbsp;warm and cosy in winter. Florian is very popular with the locals so make sure to book.<\/span><br \/><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><span lang=\"EN-US\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><span
